David Damiani is a teacher who has built a career around education, coaching, and mentoring students to perform at their best. He has nearly two decades’ experience as a sports coach and more than a decade of experience as a teacher. David Damiani has also worked as an independent after-school tutor, helping students in subjects including French, math, history, and science. He holds degrees in education and kinesiology from York University.
Mr. Damiani currently works as a secondary teacher in Toronto. He teaches several subjects, helps students hone their resume writing and interview skills, coordinates student placements, and organizes staff workshops. He is equally passionate about sports, having coached the girls’ basketball team to the OFSAA Championships. He has also coached soccer and track and field teams.
Mr. Damiani is also a personal trainer certified in nutrition, strength and conditioning, and corrective exercises. He designs tailored exercise programs to his clients, helping them achieve their physical fitness goals safely and effectively. In addition, he has coached tennis at Valley Tennis Club for 19 years and worked at elite professional tennis events, supporting some of the world’s top ATP and WTA players, including the Williams sisters and Rafael Nadal. Mr. Damiani continues to work as a sports coach at TenTen Sports.
Mr. Damiani is qualified in first aid and CPR. He is fluent in English and French, and enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
